Hello Paul, One thing I have to say first. Where were you and your book when I was considering going into medical billing? If I had read any of your medical billing books first, I would of had a much better idea of what I was getting into rather than listening to all those ads, which omit a lot of the truths. I also would have made a better choice of the company to do my correspondence course through. Your medical billing beginners book was filled with so much information that everybody should have knowledge of before taking the first step, even if they plan on working for somebody else instead of having their own business right away. It's just a shame that there are so many businesses offering correspondence courses that aren't straight up with you and don't supply you with all the knowledge you need for a job of this importance. Most of them just skim the surface. No wonder nobody wanted to hire me after they saw what school I did my correspondence course with. I think that made the difference and it wasn't my resume after all. The medical billing books you recommend are great and I would and will suggest that everybody who is interested in going into this field read them first, before they invest any money into starting a medical billing business.
